The strains included are Bifidobacterium lactis, Enterococcus faecium, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus paracasei, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus salivarius and Lactococcus lactis. These are naturally fermented, antibiotic resistant and able to survive the challenges of stomach acid and bile within the digestive tract. The strains exert activity across the whole of the gut.
Prebiotics in the form of inulin and fructo-oligosaccharides are provided alongside to act as a food source for the probiotic bacteria.
The powder form allows flexible dosing with each teaspoon providing three billion live bacteria. The probiotics are stable at room temperature and do not require refrigeration.
